■ Selected as an Outstanding Corporation for Disclosure in the 2024 Corporate Governance Report Awards… Acknowledged for adhering to corporate governance reporting guidelines, transparently disclosing governance structures and improvement plans to enhance shareholder value.

On December 12, LOTTE Chemical was recognized as an outstanding corporation for disclosure at the 2024 Corporate Governance Report Awards held at the Korea Exchange’s headquarters in Seoul.

Since 2019, the Korea Exchange has annually selected listed companies that have thoroughly and transparently disclosed their governance status in accordance with the Corporate Governance Report Guidelines, naming them outstanding corporations for disclosure.

LOTTE Chemical earned this recognition by faithfully complying with the guidelines, providing transparent disclosures about the company’s overall governance structure and improvement plans, and contributing to the enhancement of shareholder rights.

To strengthen its governance, LOTTE Chemical implemented measures such as the Lead Independent Director system, the Sustainability Management Committee for managing ESG risks, and improvements to audit committee regulations to organize an independent internal audit department.

In 2022, LOTTE Chemical was also selected as an outstanding corporation for disclosure in the KOSPI market. The award acknowledged its efforts to reduce information divide through voluntary disclosures, including the development of a disclosure support system to ensure efficient operations and prevent errors, and proactive disclosures of key management activities.
