  We are operating LOOP Social Project to discover and foster social ventures and startups in each area of resource circulation value chain. We provide expert mentoring and training, acceleration programs, and seed funding to support these initiatives. Through this, we aim to build a sustainable resource circulation ecosystem and fulfill our social responsibility.

  Supporting hub construction for
  regional resource circulation

  To establish a plastic resource circulation system in local communities, we collaborate with local governments and support the construction of resource circulation hubs. By offering training on waste separation, we foster a culture of resource circulation within the community. Additionally, we connect senior employment programs with resource circulation hub projects, generating social value.

  Spreading the recycling culture
  within LOTTE group

  To promote a culture of resource circulation within the LOTTE Group, we operate a collaborative project with its affiliates. We work with group affiliates and social ventures to produce and promote products made from recycled plastic materials, striving to build a comprehensive resource circulation system.

  Comfortable Therapy Classroom for Moms

  In collaboration with Lotte Medical Foundation and Bobath Memorial Hospital, we have signed a business agreement for the ‘Mom-pyeonhan Therapy Classroom’ for children with disabilities. We are carrying out practical social contribution projects such as developing therapeutic tools made from recycled plastic, providing treatment cost support for children from underprivileged backgrounds, and creating a stable therapy room environment. Through these efforts, we are committed to fulfilling our social responsibility in fostering a healthy growth environment for children with disabilities.

  Support Program for Mom’s Comfort

  We are continuously engaged in women-friendly sharing activities for women, children, and youth from low-income and vulnerable households, including single-parent families, single mothers, working mothers, and immigrant women. Our support includes scholarships, home repairs, daily necessities, and educational assistance.

  Educational Support for Youth

  To help young people grow into future talents and become self-reliant, we support career education fairs, scholarships, and self-support funds for youths from socially disadvantaged backgrounds.

  Sponsorship for Underprivileged Children by 'KBS Companion'

  In collaboration with public interest broadcasting programs, we support various needs of children from socially vulnerable groups, including housing, furniture, education, and daily necessities. Through these efforts, we aim to raise public awareness, strengthen the social safety net, and take the lead in establishing a culture of welfare.

  Establishing a sustainable social environment

  As part of our commitment to ESG management, we operate and support educational programs in collaboration with local educational institutions such as daycare centers, kindergartens, and elementary schools near our workplaces to raise awareness about ecosystem protection and the importance of resource circulation. We will continue to expand and enhance these activities in partnership with the local community to help build a sustainable society.

  Support for Livelihood and Facility Independence

  We regularly provide support to vulnerable members of the community by offering free meals, sharing side dishes, supplying daily necessities, and taking longevity photos. With careful attention to marginalized neighbors in facilities such as welfare centers, nursing homes, and orphanages, we strive to make a positive impact in the local community.
