LOTTE Chemical held the third seminar for helping with education on infrastructure, which is essential for the growth of partner companies, such as ESG consulting and relevant legal education, for small and medium partner companies, who are partners for sustainable growth.

In particular, about 100 small to medium-sized partner companies attended this seminar to inspect the trends of environmental laws and regulations such as ▲strengthened environmental regulations ▲increased demands for supply chain management ▲renewable energy/resource circulation response, etc., and look to come up with response strategies.

A CEO of a partner company that attended the seminar said, “We had difficulties on identifying the rapidly changing internal/external environmental laws and regulations due to the lack of experts and cost issues, etc., but the annual seminar is very helpful as necessary information is shared and we can discuss response plans together.”

LOTTE Chemical ESG Management Sector Head Park In Cheol, who hosted this seminar, commented, “We give great meaning to holding customized seminars that can continuously empower partner companies at this juncture where the importance of ESG management is growing” and added, “LOTTE Chemical plans to continue to support various programs for strengthening the competitiveness of partner companies.”
