• Entry Program

  The Entry Program for newcomers is offered for them to understand the Company and the chemical business and acquire the qualities required to become competent members.

• Practice in Production Process

  Newcomers take Practice in Production Process so they can combine theoretical knowledge in chemical industry with the real-world practice. They learn the safety rules and regulations and experience the actual production site.

• Overseas Training of New Employees

  LOTTE Chemical began overseas training program for new employees in 2017 to boost their understanding of field work and pride in being a member of a global chemical company. The program, consisting of workshops with local employees, visit to production facilities, and cultural experience, is an opportunity for new employees to develop a global mind.

• In-house Mentoring Program

  The mentoring program helps new employees to design their future and bring out their full potential after being assigned to their positions. The program breaks away from the conventional company-led education system and pursues autonomous education system in which the mentor-mentee jointly select common goals and action items. Sharing know-how about work and self-development helps senior and junior employees to form a strong bond and enhances the human network so that new employees can quickly adapt to the organization.

Specialist education

• Systemization for acquiring nationally certified accounting certificates

  We perform accounting education for all new employees to improve the management mindset of new personnel and systemized it so that they may acquire nationally certified accounting certificates.

• Operation of R&D school course and support for various specialization courses per job

  For the distinguished improvement of R&D capacities, we operate an R&D school course, and also support acquisition of certificates related to expert courses for each of the various jobs such as management support, sales, production and research.

Global Talent Cultivation Program

• Overseas Resident Employee Cultivation Program

  We nurture residential workers so overseas residential workers can adapt to the new environment fast and develop competence in the global setting. They take language and leadership courses before departure and OJT for development during the dispatch.
  After returning, they take re-adjustment training and produce materials about their experience overseas to systemize the knowhow and knowledge.

• Regional Expert Cultivation Program

  We dispatch global workforce to strategic regions so they can learn the local languages and cultures and survey the market.
  They study the local business environment and share the findings to grow into the pioneers of the future market. This is to lay the foundation for our human and material networks required for overseas businesses.

• Foreign Branch Local Employee Education

  We offer local employee training programs to develop local workforce for international corporations. We select outstanding local employees and invite them to various training programs and workshops that take place in Korea.

• Support for Language Progrrams

  We offer various intramural language courses to provide officers and employees with opportunities to learn in addition to work.
  We also support further learning through outside language institutes, phone tutors, and accredited language tests to develop language proficiency skills.
